Doughnuts, Coffee, & Centerpieces - The Dreamiest Workshop
At the end of our busy season this year, we decided to host an intimate evening with some of our industry friends to celebrate a successful season. In the wedding industry, we spend our time planning events for others and rarely get to sit down and enjoy one ourselves.
We sent out invitations we found on the Wedding Paper Divas website. We loved the matching liners in the envelopes and the sweet illustrations on the invite. We loved that they have a professional designer look over your card before it goes out to ensure that it's perfect but this does take a little bit of extra time so you'll want to order early.
We chose to host the evening at Rollover Doughnuts in Phoenix. If you've never stopped by, you're missing out. The doughnuts are to-die-for and the indoor space is quiet, well-decorated, and the perfect place to get some work done, read a book, or catch up with an old friend. We're obsessed with the feeling of community they've fostered and it was truly the most magical evening in their space.
Our guests arrived, snacked on doughnuts, and chatted with each other before we all settled down and got started with the class. I gave a quick rundown on our favorite techniques for creating the perfect floral arrangement and set everyone free to work. It's so fun to teach workshops because every student creates something completely different with the ingredients at hand. While everyone worked, I got the chance to walk around the room and offer one-on-one advice.
When everyone finished their arrangements, we took some obligatory group photos (how could we not?) and sent our guests home with gorgeous curated gift boxes filled with some of our local favorites and a piece of our house dyed silk ribbon.
We could not have pulled this off without the support of our incredible sponsors so we want to give all of them some serious love.
Our invites were from the wonderful team over at Wedding Paper Divas.
The evening was beautifully captured by Galaxie Andrews.
And last, but certainly not least, here's a video from Something New Media that truly captured the spirit of our evening!
