Sometimes a wedding day is just...right. Danielle and Garrett's wedding took place in Garrett's parent's backyard and it's hard to believe such a gorgeous, green space exists in this desert that we call home. The day was perfectly coordinated by Katherine Oyer with Lucky and In Love events and shot by the insanely talented and always kind, Kym Ventola. When we got the images back from this day, we did a little happy dance because DAMN do they look good.
As we mentioned before, the space was strikingly beautiful all by itself so we didn't need to add much! The arch was accented with a simple garland with touches of white garden roses, ranunculus, mums, and white spray roses.
Danielle had a vision for her day that include wildflower blooms in a muted color palette. We mixed fluffy, white garden roses with the sweetest button mums then added in some edge with blue thistle (it's hard to find a design that isn't improved by thistle). We loved the masculine boutonnieres created for Garrett and his groomsmen featuring thistle, brunia, scabiosa pods, and button mums.
The sweet flower girls wore fresh flower crowns for their walk down the aisle and we're just in love with how they turned out. It's hard to resist a flower girl wearing blooms. The junior bridesmaid also got to wear a crown and we're in love with the contrast of the white flowers against her red hair (serious hair envy, you guys).
So what do you think? Are you swooning with us now?
